The Donald Ross Society was formed to honor the memory of golf courses of the pre-eminent Scottish golf course architect, Donald J. Ross and to help preserve his courses. Formed in 1989, the Society has grown to nearly 1400 members from 43 states and six countries.

Amateurs, PGA tour and club professionals, architects, club managers, greens superintendents and journalists belong to the Donald Ross Society. Our Society's primary goal is to communicate the importance of preserving and promoting traditional architecture values reflected so eloquently in the works of Donald Ross. Through its Historical Committee, the Society has helped many Ross clubs across America obtain historical data and original course design.

Your membership will help worthy students further their education in golf course architecture through grants from the Donald Ross Memorial Scholarship Fund.
